Athena, protector of Athens, was Goddess of Wisdom, Handicraft, and Warfare. After being born out of Zeus’ head, she dedicated her life to leading soldiers into battle and was often depicted with a helmet and spears. She was also known as “Athena the Virgin.” Despite her fragility and wisdom, she was also a master craftswoman - an equivalent of Hephaestus. Her symbols include the owl, olive tree, and snake. Our cozy apartment in the heart of Plaka could not have any other name but Athena, due to its prime location.
Wisdom and Warfare.
The "Athena" apartment is located in the heart of the city, next to Hadrian's Arch and within a short distance from the New Acropolis Museum and the "Acropolis" metro station. The accommodation offers one bedroom with a double bed and a spacious living room with a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen. It is close to all the major attractions in the area, giving you the opportunity to make the most of your time and enjoy the city's atmosphere. The apartment is situated right next to the famous Dionysiou Areopagitou pedestrian street.
During your stay, we provide breakfast to start your day. In the fridge, you will find cheese, cold cuts, milk, juice, jam, butter, and honey. Additionally, we offer cookies, bread, various types of coffee, and tea for you to enjoy your breakfast. For your convenience, we choose to refill the breakfast items every 3 days.

Neighborhood
The apartment is located right next to the famous pedestrian street of Dionysios Areopagitou and an arch of trees lead you to the foot of the Acropolis. The apartment is just a few minutes from the "Acropolis" metro station, so it is very convenient for your transfer to/from the airport. Although it is filled with local shops, cafes and businesses it retains a feel of another era. It is the heart of the city, full of beautiful contradictions that will surprise you. At the same time, you are very close to the most central point of the city (10 minutes walk), the Syntagma and the National Garden where you can enjoy a beautiful walk.
