God of sky and thunder, Zeus was the king of Gods of Mount Olympus. Son of Kronus and Rhea, Zeus was known for his erotic escapades, and he fathered many divine offspring, including Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Hermes, and the Muse Kleio. Raised by the nymph Amalthea on the island of Crete so that his father Kronus wouldn’t eat him (as he had done to the rest of his children), he grew up mighty and strong and eventually overthrew his father. His symbols were the thunderbolt, eagle, bull, and oak. As mighty as Zeus, our apartment is situated on the fourth floor in an ideal location for Athenian explorations. With a glimpse of the Acropolis and only minutes away from all major attractions, this is the perfect spot for travelers with children.

Apartment Zeus welcomes you to the heart of Athens, with its three spacious bedrooms (with AC, flat-screen TVs, and spacious closet space), two bathrooms with a shower, free WiFi, and a cozy living area with a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment has balcony access from the main bedroom for all those who want to enjoy the evening bliss under city lights.
During your stay, we provide breakfast to start your day. In the fridge, you will find cheese, cold cuts, milk, juice, jam, butter, and honey. Additionally, we offer cookies, bread, various types of coffee, and tea for you to enjoy your breakfast. For your convenience, we choose to refill the breakfast items every 3 days.
The apartment is ideal for couples, families, or a group of friends, while its close proximity to central activities and the metro stop makes it suitable for all needs. No need for grumpy kids or long walks that get you exhausted before you get to enjoy all the beautiful scenes of historic Athens, wander the shady gardens of the National Park, or get a sneak peek of the changing of the guards (evzones).

Neighborhood
Centrally located on Leoforos Syggrou Avenue, Apartment Zeus is in the middle of it all! Bordering the neighborhoods of Koukaki, as well as the historic district of Plaka and Pangrati, you’re privileged to experience it all within walking distance of your apartment. The picturesque Koukaki neighborhood, a local favorite, is lined with rustic cafes and charming shops that welcome you for some authentic experiences. The historic center of Plaka, just minutes away, is a time-traveling experience that takes you back to ancient Greek, with cobblestone walkways and distinct architecture from a different age. There you’ll find the entrance to the Acropolis, the new Acropolis Museum, the known pedestrian street of Dionysiou Areopagitou, various Museums and Art Exhibitions as well as a lot of souvenir shops, cafes, and restaurants. Be sure to also discover the area of Anafiotika which is Instagram material, with scenic fairytale whitewashed little houses with colorful shutters. For a more traditional excursion head to the Pangrati neighborhood, which is also just a couple of minutes walking distance from the apartment. Pangrati (or Mets area) is another local favorite that houses interesting local architecture, funky cafes, and shops. From there it is a short stroll to the National Gardens as well as the majestic Panathenaic Stadium.
The apartment is in between the Acropolis and the Syggrou Fix metro station, which offers easy access from/to the airport, as well as transport around the city. Bus stops heading down to the beaches are also just minutes from the apartment. Truly perfect for first-time visitors traveling with elderly or children, as it gives you the freedom to experience more in less time. This is the ideal place for maximum experience with minimum effort.
