Athena, protector of Athens, was Goddess of Wisdom, Handicraft, and Warfare. After being born out of Zeus’ head, she dedicated her life to leading soldiers into battle and was often depicted with a helmet and spears. She was also known as “Athena the Virgin.” Despite her fragility and wisdom, she was also a master craftswoman - an equivalent of Hephaestus. Her symbols include the owl, olive tree, and snake. Our cozy apartment in the heart of Plaka could not have any other name but Athena, due to its prime location.

Apartment Athena is situated in the heart of the historic center of Plaka, next to Hadrian's Arch and a few minutes from the New Acropolis Museum as well as the Acropolis metro station. The cozy apartment features 1 bedroom with a double bed and a spacious living room with a sofa bed. Next to all major attractions, you will be able to get the most out of your stay, while enjoying the Athenian ambiance from a local point of view. Easy access to metro & major bus routes.

Picturesque scenery engulfs your "home" with cobblestone streets as well as traditional townhouses with beautiful doors and windows. Located right next to the famous pedestrian street Dionysiou Aeropagitou and the archway made of trees that leads you to the foot of the majestic Acropolis. Your fully furnished apartment is designed to make you feel as safe and comfortable as possible so that you can focus on making memories. The apartment is equipped with a fridge, oven, filter coffee machine, Nespresso machine, toaster, blender, kettle, and washing machine as well as all necessary utensils. All other functional extras such as iron, hairdryer et al. are also included in the apartment free of charge. During your stay, we provide breakfast to start your day. In the fridge, you will find cheese, cold cuts, milk, juice, jam, butter, and honey. Additionally, we offer cookies, bread, various types of coffee, and tea for you to enjoy your breakfast. For your convenience, we choose to refill the breakfast items every 3 days.
