His symbols include the Lyra and the raven. As majestic as Apollo himself, this apartment offers two extraordinary terrace views of the Acropolis, as well as unique interior features. Let the sun touch the skin on your face and let the wind become music to your ears as you relax on one of our terraces with the view of our historic marvel, the Parthenon. Apartment Apollo is a lovely 5th-floor maisonette, perfect for four people. It is equipped with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a minibar, a kitchen, a very spacious balcony with a swing, and outdoor furniture, while an interior staircase leads you to the 6th floor where you will find a private rooftop terrace with sunbeds and more outdoor seating. It is ideal for families, groups of friends, or business travelers alike. During your stay, we provide breakfast to start your day. In the fridge, you will find cheese, cold cuts, milk, juice, jam, butter, and honey. Additionally, we offer cookies, bread, various types of coffee, and tea for you to enjoy your breakfast. For your convenience, we choose to refill the breakfast items every 3 days.
The apartment is situated in the district of Neos Kosmos, within walking distance to from nearest bus stop, metro and Kasoumouli tram stop as well as numerous supermarkets.
It is ideal for getting into the city center or to the coastal suburbs for some swimming during the hot summer months. The Acropolis Museum is a 25-minute walk away, and from there do not miss the colorful Monastiraki flea market and the lively Thissio cafes, especially Cafe Avissinia with its excellent food and a great view. A short walk from the apartment is the Onassis Cultural Center which hosts various cultural events while a little further down is the National Museum of Contemporary Art where you can discover Greek as well as international artists. If you are traveling with children don’t miss a fun experience at the Illusions Museum in Monastiraki. Apartment Apollo cannot wait for you to be part of his memories. Neighborhood
The central square of Nea Smirni, Agia Fotinis square, is just a couple of bus stops away and a wonderful place to take a short walk to and enjoy a drink in one of the many cafes for a more local experience and away from the bustling city center.
There are numerous nice places to go out to eat or drink around the apartment, especially in the nearby districts of Neos Kosmos, Nea Smirni, and Koukaki. For Greek food, we can suggest the ‘Oinosxoleio’ which offers live music entertainment accompanied by a filling meal of delicious mezze, the Greek tapas. ‘Barbathimos’, a Cretan restaurant can be found close by and they offer a terrific selection of Cretan kebabs and pita bread. How about a plateless eating experience? The restaurant ‘Ladokolla’, is a Greek chain of tavernas, especially popular for its grilled meat and use of the old tradition of waxed paper sheets (called ladokolla). It has a fun and family-friendly atmosphere and is at great prices. For something even more cozy and peaceful, try ‘To Plateiaki Mas’. It is the epitome of local and translates to ‘our little square’. If you have had enough Greek food for a day, then try this lovely Italian place called ‘Pizzeria Dei Fratelli’. It has good food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices in a pleasant environment. ‘Hytra’ on the rooftop of the Onassis Cultural center is also an excellent choice with a sophisticated menu and wine list and a spectacular view of the Acropolis. Close to the apartment and on the way to the city center, we recommend ‘Combina’ for a snack or morning coffee. They have a good selection of juices, coffees, bagels, and pastries. ‘Laluk Cafe Bar’ is another choice of all-day cafe-bar nearby with great food and drinks, especially their fresh juices. Another great morning/brunch place is ‘Bel-Ray Bar’ and ‘BiteBox’ in Koukaki. In the evening, these places are the place to be, especially popular for their excellent cocktails. Once the night settles in, enjoy a drink in Neos Kosmos in the groovy ‘Barazz’ and if you manage to catch one of their live music shows, themed 70/80s parties, or karaoke nights, even better. A short walk away is ‘Batman’, a local hub like a true nighttime legend, well deserves a visit if you want to emerge yourself in international and well as local classics. In Koukaki, ‘Bobo Winebar’ is a dream for wine lovers and ‘Spirtokouto Cocktail Bar’ offers delicious and funky cocktails.
Apartment Apollo’s location is not far from all the important city center hot spots, you can even enjoy a skyline view of most of them from your very own large veranda, with lounge chairs and outdoor dining seating.
