Aegle was the daughter of Asclepius, the "medicine-god" of ancient Greece, and her name means "brightness" or "'splendor." Our apartment’s name is signified by its location next to one of the major Athenian Hospitals, Hippocrates who was also known as the father of medicine.

Within walking distance of Ippokratio Hospital, there are cafes and restaurants with traditional Greek food and the garden of the Athens Concert Hall for a short walk.
